"O, Pain How Are You"(poem)
Back then
an unexpected thing happened,
But not
surprising.
Like a
flashflood going through your doors
Without
even a hint of a warning.
Like your
old man who just came home
After years
of extinction handling you a gift,
And a hug.
O, pain,
how are you? I’m fine how about you?
I’m longing
for you.
Can I be a
physician now? Cuz I don’t feel you.
Like a
thousand needles of anesthesia piercing to
My body,
head to toe, from my teeth to my eyelashes.
O, pain
where are you? I’m here, how about you?
I feel like
I don’t need you but you always have a
special place
in my heart, longing for that missing piece
To be placed
in me to make me whole.
Yet, it
makes me empty.
O, pain, now
I know. That your season is gonna
Start tomorrow.
O, pain. Why are you.
